Hound Dog One - Mission #6

Twinkle Toes boarded Hound Dog One yet again yesterday, but this time, it was for a different reason....to fly to her forever home. It had been almost 7 months to the day since Twinkle Toes first boarded HD1, suffering from injuries received after being struck by a car. Pauline Grimball and Sue Ramsey fostered TT and nursed her back to health. It wasn't easy, however. Besides recovering from a cracked pelvis and torn ACL, TT fought through a difficult heartworm treatment as well as eyelid surgery.

Upon arrival at Concord Regional Airport, TT was greeted by a mass of CBHR volunteers as well as her new mom, Patty Andrews.

I am proud of the volunteers we have within CBHR. None of this would have been possible without your support. Nothing is better than seeing a hound so happy in her new environment, knowing where she came from.

The Post and Courier in Charleston, SC also did a follow-up story on TT in yesterday's paper. To view the online article, click here
